DESIGN DESCRIPTION: Blending cultures through art! This handmade Kashmiri chain stitch wall hanging draws from the rich textile traditions of Central Asia, with influences from Turkish and Persian designs.
The piece showcases a complex arrangement of geometric patterns, centred around a large, stepped arch (or mihrab) inspired by Islamic architecture. A wide border with repeating geometric shapes and stylized motifs frames the central design, while white fringes at both ends add a traditional touch. The overall symmetry creates a balanced look, merging historical symbolism with modern style.
